Her advanced training in evidence-based therapies—including CBT, DBT, CPT, and trauma-focused approaches—supports clients facing grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, healthy relationships, and more. Candace takes a holistic, systemic view of each person’s life and helps build protective factors to promote long-term healing and fulfillment.

She is a professor at Southeast Community College, University of Nebraska-Omaha, and The Myotherapy Institute of Nebraska. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), & is a nationally certified adoption competent therapist (TAC).

Sparrow is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner (PLMHP) who works with children, adults, and families facing emotional and relationship challenges. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, attachment, and trauma, with a strong emphasis on understanding how early experiences and relationships shape emotional well-being across the lifespan. With a trauma‑informed, attachment‑centered approach, she works collaboratively with clients to build self‑esteem, improve emotional regulation, and foster resilience and insight.
