Our Story: A New Direction Since 2010
Paradigm, Inc. began in 2010 as a consultation and training organization focused on improving family outcomes. Since 2012, we have expanded by partnering with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services agencies to provide family support services and parenting time supervised visitation. We continue to grow and have added behavioral health support, therapy services, and Family Centered Treatment.
Our approach is rooted in collaboration, respect, and evidence-based practices. We believe every individual and family deserves a chance to thrive, and we work tirelessly to make that possible.
Our Mission
When we began offering services to children and families in Nebraska, we knew we wanted to go in a new direction. We continue to move forward, focused on our mission, vision, goals and philosophy.
Our mission is to provide families and individuals with a stable, nurturing, and secure environment for the promotion of healthier family functioning. We encourage people to be self-sufficient, utilizing community resources when necessary. Every effort should be made to prevent an out-of-home placement and maintain the least restrictive environment possible.
Our vision is to provide assistance to public and private agencies in the human services, behavioral health, and educational fields. Paradigm brings an enormous amount of passion, commitment, experience, and a bit of “common sense” to the agencies with whom they are associated.
Our goal is to provide families and individuals the skills necessary to improve their overall quality of life.
Our philosophy begins with the belief that working with the entire family in their natural environment is essential. Service design must be individually tailored to suit each family in order to implement the most effective service methods, thereby reducing significant barriers. Paradigm stresses the need for culturally competent professionals that have the ability to assess families within their own cultural and social context. We believe that everyone receiving services will develop best within a framework of respect, accountability and open communication.
C.A.R.E.S. reflects our mission, vision, values, and philosophy
C.A.R.E.S. is an acronym that captures the Person and Family-Centered Practices we feel are important in our day-to-day interactions. Paradigm’s core tenants of C.A.R.E.S. ensure that we are focused on family engagement and family involvement; we are strength-based in our assessments, and we provide full disclosure to the families through our openness and respecting them as partners.
